Weekly letters that nurture you to find everyday wellness.

Dear friends,
The past few months I’ve been reflecting on this quote by Jamie Anderson: “Grief, I’ve learned, is really just love. It’s all the love you want to give, but cannot. All that unspent love gathers up in the corners of your eyes, the lump in your throat, and in that hollow part of your chest. Grief is just love with no place to go.”
Sharing with you below a talk & meditation I recently gave on grief, as well as invitations to upcoming community gatherings (Mindfulness of Sexuality and Mindful Use of Technology) and some small gifts. ❤️
With love and care,

Making Space For Grief
I gave the following talk and meditation on Making Space For Grief on April 15th at Mudita Mindfulness Community. Back then, we were still in the early stages of the global COVID-19 pandemic, beginning to get a sense of what it is we are losing and grieving.
The pandemic is still going on, with new layers of loss and sadness. But even before the pandemic, loss and grief were natural and normal parts of our daily lives. And they always will be, for as long as we love.
If you’d like to explore how to tenderly hold yourself in moments of grief, you may tune in to this talk.

Upcoming Mudita Gatherings
  • Tonight at 19:30 Paris time on Zoom, we will gather as a community and explore Mindfulness of Sexuality. What is sexuality? How is it a powerful energy? What does it mean to be mindful of this energy? What are some concrete things we can do to bring mindfulness and compassion to sexuality? Please RSVP here to get the Zoom details.
  • Next Wednesday August 26th at 19:30 Paris time on Zoom, we will explore Mindful Use of Technology. Please RSVP here to get the Zoom details.
As a reminder,
  • Your first participation to Mudita is free, after which you’re invited to pay what you can.
  • In community gatherings, we practice optional sharing and deep listening. Those who would like to share what is arising in them may share as much context or detail as they choose. We encourage sharing of feelings and experiences rather than story lines and intellectual analysis. Others will be invited to listen kindly and deeply, without asking questions, giving advice or analyzing.
